My First Venture Into Dark Fine Art Portraiture

In the spirit of this dark and scary time of year, I was inspired to do my first experimental fine art shoot with my dear friend, Amy. We weren't sure if we would even get to shoot because my day was running way behind, but I HAD to get this concept out of my head at all costs!

The goal of this shoot for me was to venture into a darker, gritty, style of shooting and editing in post process. We started shooting when the sun was almost down and we were mostly in the shade of trees close to the Verdigris River. Amy's dress was borrowed from the Neewollah musical wardrobe and it was part of my inspiration for this "hauntingly seductive" shoot.

All images posted so far are different editing styles than I have done before and I welcome you all to leave some feedback on my work!

Merry Hallowe'en everyone! ;)
